In
1998 Solidarity for African Development (SADEP) was formed as a Youth
oriented
NGO after years of selfless voluntary to the society with the
common objective
of finding lasting solutions to some of the
prevailing problems confronting
our country Ghana.
SADEP aims to
undertake vital works by identifying, raising awareness and
tacking
some of the numerous social and environmental issues affecting
the
rural communities.
Since it's establishment, it has been working to promote policies of
Government in collaboration with state agencies, NGOs and other
stakeholders
on both social and environmental issues.
In addition , SADEP is committed to a plan to promote standard with the
view of
ensuring sustainable environmental and social development to
enshrined
in Ghana's constitution.
With this in mind ,SADEP has designed strategic projects to enhance understanding
of both environmental and social concerns and their
relationship to sustainable
livelihood.
This will help in developing innovative to approaches to address
the
problems in an integrated manner.
