WORKCAMPS

SADEP -ENGLAND

SADEP-ITALIA

INTERNATIONAL WORKCAMPS - SADEP'S  yearly international workcamp like any of her cultural exchange programmes are organised in both summer and winter, it is aimed at bringing the youth of the world to learn, share ideas and experiences and to enhance cross culture solutions. The workcamp last for between 2 to 3 weeks depending on the nature of the project.
Normally 2 weeks is spent on the project and in the third (3) week volunteers are taken on a tour to some selected and interesting tourist attraction in the country. The first 2 days of arrival is used to orientate volunteers as regards to camp life, the communities, projects, the cultural differences and the SADEP'S administration.
Volunteers are normally housed in school buildings or houses within the local communities. However volunteers who wish to bring their own tents are welcome. 20 - 24 volunteers are the average number for each camp.  As usual the working hours is six (6) daily. Saturdays and Sundays are the non working days which are used for sightseeing in the communities and their environs organised by the camps or individuals. Local camps are organised periodically.
Arrival and Departure SADEP should be informed by the  participants of their arrival time 4 - 7 days (1 week) ahead, for them to be picked from and to the airport. Volunteers should arrived at least 2  days before the start of the camps for personal and organizational  convenience.
